Writing 101, Day 5: Be Brief
Lunch hour is almost up. He stands up, almost turning the table over. His clumsiness garners a few stares from the strangers around him; probably the only time this gawky teen will be given any attention at all. He clears his table and carries the tray over to return it.
He then turns around to promptly leave the sandwich joint. As always, he is slightly hunched with his eyes to the ground. Just then, something on the ground catches his attention. He is drawn to the yellow piece of postcard-sized paper. He picks it up to read the inscribed words.
